Nihangs: The Eternals
A martial sect, the Nihang Sikhs have throughout history been revered for their bravery and ruthlessness in battle, taking on and triumphing over enemies who far outnumbered them. Times have changed, and so have the Nihangs, while keeping their traditions, customs, and skills alive.
They clothe themselves in blue (a colour that signifies bravery) and orange or bright yellow (which signify sacrifice), and are best known for their the Dastar Bunga ( large turbans), which are reinforced with steel rings called  Chakkram to protect their head. Hidden in their turbans are  small tridents and knives, which were traditionally used for close combat.
While this community continues to shun living with society, they proudly display their skills in horse-riding and welding weapons such as the sword, spears and mace festive gatherings.
